Job Description

  • Develop documentation to industry standards and to appropriate audience skill level
  • Collaborate with product, project, pre-sales, and other SMEs to determine technical information requirements for documentation
  • Create documentation from scratch within timelines and share the progress with the stakeholders periodically
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver as per schedule
  • Review and revise information based on internal and external customer feedback
  • Participate in product improvement initiatives such as usability, process improvements, and developing videos
  • Be a single point of contact for managing the entire documentation repository
  • Write technical blogs based on product releases, features, and  use cases
  • Help marketing team with technical content such as research notes, technical guides, product use cases, etc

Desirables

  • Experience - 3-5 years
  • Excellent command over the English language
  • Proficiency with MS Word and other relevant authoring tools
  • Knowledge of image capturing, video authoring, and technical diagram-making tools such as SnagIt, Screencast-o-matic, and draw.io
  • Knowledge of user experience, user-centered and visual design principles, including new trends
  • Uses more advanced features of the authoring tool to promote an enhanced UX/IX
