Job Description
Role?
- Understand various Novelvox products
- Design and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life-cycle
- Communicate and coordinate with the client for smooth release of the product.
- Understand, replicate, and resolve issues faced by the client after the product release.
- Understand Automation and design test scripts and flows
KRA’s - Using associated test data to design and develop test procedures and cases
- Manually executing the test procedures and developing automation scripts
- Attending test-procedure walk-through and stand-ups
- Creation & Review of test coverage & impact analysis
- Participate in Scrum and story grooming sessions
- Escalation of issues at appropriate level
- Contribute to R&D activities through various lab
- Timely and successful completion of assignments of the module assigned
- Communicating module(s) status/Issues etc, on time and efficiently
- Adherence to the quality process defined for the Product & Projects
- Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals, accessing new applications and investigating new
technologies - Problem-solving attitude and a team player
Technical Skills and Qualification - Tools : Eclipse, IntelliJ , Visual Studio , POSTMAN
- Database: MS SQL
- Operating systems: Windows Server 2008 and above , Linux
- Knowledge of API / Webservices, REST / SOAP , JSON , XML
- Basic of unix and shell scripting
- Proficient in one of the programming language and scripting preferably Java / Python / JavaScript etc
- Understanding of cloud platform (AWS) is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new tool and technology
- Basic idea of software testing
- Qualification: BE/B-Tech /MCA or any equivalent degree
